Probably the youngest I have seen the band in any interview on YouTube. Interviewing Henry is like hunting a tiger...you never know when they will turn and you will become the prey! Dave was actually a very cool guy. Aired on BPV 10-19-85.
Mark Porada was the host for this hour of the show. Of all our "porch jockies" he probably was the most "professional." He just had a natural talent for this stuff.
Aired 5-17-85.
Here is the version with the interviews at the start. Once again, Back Porch Video played and plays the videos you will see nowhere else! Originally aired 11-10-84.
OK people, I am trying some new codecs this time. And I won't be posting videos that I think will get pulled, and thus get the channel pulled. Aired on BPV 3-16-85.
Here it is finally! Unedited full version of the song that became our theme song. The song and spacemen footage, along with the name of our show, was thought up by Paul Streffon, one of the original executive producers. Did you know that the "Back Porch" is actually part of the video signal of recorded video? Well...you do now! Aired 1-28-84.
I left in Jeff & Billy's entire intro for this one, since they were two of the best known Porch Jockies, and yet I have almost none of the shows saved that they were on. Aired Nov. '88.
A master of his craft at work. Elfman is a genius...albeit a little more off-the-wall in his early years. Aired...not without some controversy...on May 17, 1985.
