Voulez Vous Danser - Ricchi e Poveri - maybe not the most intellectual video ever - but great fun to make. Look out for a guest appearance by Steve Fairnie (Charlie Chaplin) and the amazing dancing dog near the end - oh, and GAZEBO was the translator on the day - they spoke no English and I spoke no Italian... Ricchi e Poveri - nice memories...

MYSTIC - Ritmo de la Noche - ULTRA RARE - only screened ONCE on tv before it was pulled because of a story about the "singer" in the UK Sunday Scandal Sheets - er - Newspapers - the "singer" was not the singer but a beauty found by Simon dancing in a night club to front the record... she was replaced...
Den Harrow - Charleston - Den Harrow - The original - and our third - video for Den Harrow (Baby Records) - usual cast of thousands - look out for Barbie Wilde (Blue Hair) and the two dancers from Hot Gossip who appeared with Den live on tv... Crazy story, as usual... the dresses (all original 1920s - hired at great cost) were ruined in the swimming pool scene...
Tom Hooker - LOOKING FOR LOVE - Tom Hooker - the voice of many Italian hits of the 80s - This was a fun video to shoot - firstly because it had long (ish) takes - secondly because we had a (before she was famous) Sinitta and Floyd from Hot Gossip - and because it was shot the day before Do The Dance by Trancedance - on the same set - have a look - Tom Hooker - LOOKING FOR LOVE - Tom Hooker
Shakatak - STRANGER - Shakatak - Nigel Wright and the boys and girls shot on a pretty horrible rainy day just before a Shakatak gig in Brighton and on Brighton Pier - the best thing about the day was the prawns at lunch...
Timmy Mallett - Hot Hot Hot - aka Summer Medley by Del Costa - a week in Ibizia with Timmy? Sound like fun? Well, the good times - a laugh-a-minute - outweighed the bad - long, hot, sunny days and having to work through them.. Timmy Mallett - Hot Hot Hot - aka Summer Medley by Del Costa
Shaky does a goode job on this Supreme's cover - wasn't a huge hit, sadly - Epic were very mean with the budget so a simple vid concentrating on Shaky's performance was the best we could do... you can get this video on his new CD/DVD "The Shakin' Stevens Collection" but do I get any royalties? Er... no.
One of the most underrated British artistes - we shot Judy live in London - well, Croydon - Fairfield Halls - on her 1984 'Cat Is Out Tour'. Tyhe whole fabulous concert is available via tzuke.com - and, no, I don't get any royalties... Anyway, an example of my live directing for you and anyone who might want to hire me drop me a line...
Andrea - I'm a lover - Andrea - The original video for this wonderful bit of nonsense from Andrea - Baby records (home of Gazebo, etc) were fabulous! This vid features Jimmy Cameron - great choreographer whom we worked with on many other vids - where are you now Jimmy?
Classix Nouveaux THE END OR THE BEGINNING Classix Nouveaux - Shot outside Southwark Catherdral (just by London Bridge - you can see that, too) - Sal and the guys were great sports to follow my crazy script - look out for a guest appearance from Lowri Ann from Shock and the reference to an earlier hit... eyes open... Classix Nouveaux hugly under-rated band - Classix Nouveaux
Gary Numan - HEART - Gary Numan ORIGINAL VERSION for this brilliant song - I genuinely love it - Shot in a cold, black studio in Pinewood Studios with just a mirror, a chrome dustbin and a piece of wrinkly roofing - the girl is Christine Peak - where are you now, Christine? Bless Gary for letting me do such a simple video... This is the original edit - thye director's cut (as they say)...
Sinitta - SO MACHO - another Simon Cowell masterpiece - shot on a Sunday afternoon in our flat in Maida Vale with the ususal budget (er... nothing) - on first release So Macho did nothing, so Simon asked us to do a kids' tv-friendly video - it got screened on all the kids shows and BINGO it went to number 2... The Doc is played by Mike Savage who is a comic genius...
Farenheit 104 - Highway to Freedom - Brilliant anthem from baby records - featuring Tom Hooker, Maurizio Vandelli, Dario Farina - shot in a chalk quarry in Kent (where they shoot moon scenes for Dr Who) with a cast of thousands - also look out for early appearance by Eddie Huntington and Debbie Jones (who was in Future Brain)
Beautiful Danielle in our small studio in Wandsworth - why wasn't she a huge star? Do yourself a favour and get INKY BLOATERS by Danielle Dax - great album which this track comes from... Someone else has posted this, so here is the alternate edit and features the stereo 45 mix.
Great dancy version of this Althea and Donna song - still being played in clubs - another Simon Cowell inspired cover version - don't think it hit the charts... Look out for the Guest Appearance of JUDGE DREAD (not Arnie but the famous UK DJ) at the end of the vid...
Stefano Pulga - Alone Again - A doom-laden industrial intro to a powerful song by Stefano from Baby records. Shot in HMV Oxford Street on a Sunday (in the days before they opened on Sunday) Look out for Sinitta and Many Perrimint.
One of several vids we made for Nazia and Zoheb Hassan... Aag! (Fire) complete with fire-breathing snake... shot in London. For days afterwards the crew could be heard singing "Arthur Daley..."
