New Song from Third Album, performed at Hammersmith Apollo in London in April 2008. Beth comes off stage at the end to give everyone a hug (aww!), I try to get a last minute glimpse of the camera man's bum (aww!), and everyone's a winner babe!

This is from the Manchester re-invention show where we got to sing Happy Birthday to Madonna. It's quite shaky as the venue were throwing people out for taking photos and I was trying not to get caught!
Fantastic performance of Roads by Portishead @ Hammersmith Apollo, April 2008.

Dance charged version of this classic song, performed at one of the last g-a-y gigs at the Astoria, London. Also captured the moment that Jeremy Joseph asked a woman to share a bed with him :)
The sound quality was shocking in the club, so apologies that it's not brilliant.
From her new album, "Flavors of Entanglement" comes this stripped down version of Underneath. She just has such spirit and presence on stage, sharing so much of herself with the audience. The show was filmed for a live DVD, so look out for that.
Fantastic performance of Love Today, complete with a piece of puppet theatre to introduce. Alas the camera chose that moment to have a fit so cuts off a wee bit early, but it's mostly there.
Live at Union Chapel, 4 March 2008. Sorry for the shoddy audio - must get a better camera :|
Eek! Just realised the swine thing has stretched the video to fit the screen! They should really be 240x320, not the other way round.
This is one of my favourite songs ever, and hearing it live - just amazing.
The joy of sneaky filming though - when to start, can I check if it's actually aiming at the act...but hey, it's something to share in the end :)
Think I stuffed up the start (not like I can spend an entire concert pointing a camera!), but this is Terra Naomi performing Not Sorry at the ICA album launch show on 20th September 2007.
Dance charged version of this classic song, performed at one of the last g-a-y gigs at the Astoria, London. The sound quality was shocking in the club, so apologies that it's not brilliant. Would write more, but this multi-video uploader thing has lost 3 versions of this so far, so not hopeful you'll ever see this!
Randomness! Cyndi Lauper performing She Bop, though it was kinda hard to hear a thing in the club. I had thought she was re-enacting the chest-buster scene from Alien for the first minute, but she makes it out in the end :)
Portishead perform Wandering Star in this atmospheric rendition. Recorded at Hammersmith Apollo, 10th April 2008. Welcome back to music guys :)

This is a clip from one of the highlights of the show, as she looked the audience in the eye and let the simple melody mesmerise us. The sound's a bit shoddy as my camera that has great zoom has rubbish sound, and the one with little zoom has good sound. Isn't it ironic! (No).
From a performance in November 2006, this is the ever fantastic Mary Gauthier performing Mercy Now. Her act is almost part comedy routine when you hear some of the stories behind the songs, but along with the smiles come the realisation that there's real emotion, real experience and real soul on show.
