This is my all time favorite song to play on the melodica. I loved this theme ever since I heard it (and later, watched the movie). I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
I thought I'd play something on the roll up piano again. There are a few hiccups, this thing doesn't have perfect responses. But for $30, I am still impressed with it and loving it.
This is one of my favorite fiddle tunes. My cousin loaned me her violin for lessons so I figured I'd put up a video with it. This version of Old Joe Clark starts out with the main melody, then goes into a sort of old time fiddle sound, and then into a bluegrass sound. Enjoy!
I love my roll up piano so I had to make a video of it. I had to be at the store at 4am on Black Friday to get this thing (and it was only $30! yes!). It only plays 4 notes at a time, but for $30 and for being a roll up piano, this thing is awesome! Enjoy and Merry Christmas!
This is one of my favorite Christmas songs and one of the few songs that I can sing rather well (at one point, I actually performed this live as a vocal solo). So I decided to take a shot at singing and playing autoharp again. Merry Christmas!
I thought this would be a cute song to do outside by the pool. Unfortunately, that means there is a bit of outside noise. But I hope that doesn't ruin it too much. Also, this is the original song from The Little Mermaid, not the new version. So if it sounds different to you, maybe you just aren't old enough. I like this old version better.
This piece was done as a request and is one of the reasons I really love doing requests. I would have never thought of trying this piece on the melodica. Hope you enjoy it!
I love this piece by Ferdinando Carulli. Most people play it very fast. I like it slower, so you may not have heard it like this before. I hope you enjoy my interpretation.
This is a rather easy tune on the autoharp using the arpeggiando stroke on chords D and A7 for most of the piece, with one G thrown in towards the end. I like the harp like sound of this stroke. The melody is played on my Hohner melodica.
Fiddler on the Roof is the first play I ever went to see. The music has still stuck with me, so when I finally bought the sheet music I had to make a video. I'm sure more of the songs will come later as well.
This is one of my favorite pieces of classical music by Bach. It is also probably the hardest piece I've played so far on the chromatic harmonica. Enjoy!
Another video in the beautiful great outdoors. This was the very first song that I learned from reading music (on piano as a young child). This version is pretty close to the one I learned as a child, so it brought back some memories learning it on harmonica.
Liza Jane on played on the autoharp along with my singing (apologies for the singing, the file conversion and loss of quality made it worse). I've only been playing autoharp a little over a week at this point. Oh, and that's my 12 year old Sunny bunny in the background.
This is the common version. That's my Floppy rabbit in the background for yet another guest appearance. It seemed fitting for the song to have her munching on some hay.
