Daw Aung San Suu Kyi is Noble laureate of Peace for 1991 and the winner of countless prestigeous decorations, fighting for her country's freedom.
Her party NLD won the last election by 88% majority votes in 1990 but she was detained by the military regime and the party disassembled gradually instead of forming a government.
