A video montage assignment for first year (second semester) TV production class in the Creative Communications program at Red River College. Filmed, edited, and produced, April 2006.
Anchoring a live broadcast which aired throughout Red River College and parts of downtown, beginning at 5 p.m. CST on March 1, 2007.
The show was a technical nightmare, with production computers crashing three times during the show, subsequently leaving the anchors to ad-lib and blab at times.
We pulled the show out of our asses...and it still aired live. Not our finest work.
This broadcast originally aired live on February 22, 2007 at 5 p.m. CST in the broadcast studios at Red River College for broadcast journalism class. For March 1, 2007 class, we re-did the show - again, live - at 8 a.m. Then, we organized and prepared a new show, which aired live at 5 p.m. that afternoon.
This is an 11-minute video in five parts. The DVD is all contained in one project, but in order to post it here, I had to break it up (size & quality compromised). For the full-version on DVD, contact me, and I will mail it to you.
