Dance is performed by Rustavi ensemble. First part of this dance is called Karachokheli, while second is Kintauri, often called bagdaduri. Some of you might be mistaken - It's not Shalakho!!! P.S. Last solo performed in kintauri is great Fridon Sulaberidze himself.

This dance is originated in Ossetia, north caucasus. But it was Sukhishvili-Ramishvi li duo, who made this dance popular in the world. Their version of the dance (performed by all georgian dance companies) consists of 2 parts - Simd and Khonga, both of them separate dances but in Georgian version they together are making this beautiful dance.

This dance has lots of similarities with Dagestani Lezginka, but it's much harder to perform. There were many great performers of Qartuli dance, but even now, Fridon Sulaberidze is considered greatest. He is Rustavi Ensemble artistic manager.
