Great performance from their European tour in 1992. A great lineup backs the brothers: Dennis Chambers on Drums, Mike Stern on Guitar, and James Genus on bass, and George Whitty on keyboards
Taken from the Rite of Strings live at Montreaux 1994. Just another reason to worship Stanley Clarke
Edit:01/05/2007
Perhaps I should also mention the section at the beginning and throughout the rest of the performance is borrowed from his Spanish Phases for Strings and Bass from his self-titled album
My third YAS video, this time of Jim McNeely's intense piece Off The Cuff, featuring Brett McDonald on Tenor Sax, Nathan Cepelinski on Alto, Carl Bray on piano, and some drum work by Adam Arruda
Another video of the Yamaha National All Star Band (see Foreign Intrigue for background). This video is of their finale, Jerome Kern's The Way You Look Tonight, arranged by director Mike Tomaro. Soloists are Nevin Dunn, and the killer drum duo at the end of Mackenzie Longpre and Adam Arruda.
Watch how the drummers trade off throughout the entire song :)
I know I missed the Sub Tank behind the first rock crusher. That was deliberate (although I really could've gotten it anyways). I go back to get it later
I realized after I did this level that I could've done the supercharged ice and gotten the health tank that way, but eh... And don't mind the minor out-of-sync-ness near the end with my voice. I was just too lazy to fix it
This segment will also be pretty boring, but I put a few things later on to make it a little bit more entertaining. It won't make much of a difference anyways, but eh.
I'm surprised at how many people don't know that you can use that shell... Although it took me quite some time to learn it as well. Sadly, it serves little purpose as it disappears after a while.
And sorry for the shoddy handling of Mario. I'm not used to playing by keyboard
