Barb McInnis and her Grade 5/6 Class asked me to "hook them up" with folks who use technology in their daily lives. She also wondered about tieing the activity with some social students. So that's we did.

A snowfall in Canada usually doesn't create much interest but this snowfall was different. Extra large flakes and the consistency of the fallen snow was like styrofoam. Found out later it's called thundersnow. Lightning and thunder was seen and heard in the area
The earliest I've ever played golf in Saskatchewan. The 17th hole runs right along the lake which is frozen. Just for fun we hit balls on the frozen lake.
