This attraction originally opened in 1971 at Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom and closed there in 1980 before moving to Tokyo. It was in the spot where Mickey's Philharmagic is today. It's kind of interesting how the two attractions are a different medium but the idea is still pretty much the same.
Everybody's favorite Fantasyland dark ride. This version is very similer to the Florida version. It was shot in 1998 when Tokyo still had the ticket system. Notice the "C Ticket" sign.
"Now is the Time" is the theme. The date is the eary '90's. I did not tape most of this--only a few shots. I wish I knew who did the majority of the camera work but I don't.
This is the pre-show portion of the Storm Rider attraction during which we are introduced to a weather control station where they send out planes to literally blow up approaching bad storms. We are going along as observers as they fly a plane into a very bad storm and then launch a missile into its eye. It sounds like a lot of fun as long as nothing goes horribly wrong...
