Media industry workers staged a demonstration in Peshawar on November 20 on the call of Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists [PFUJ] to protest curbs on media and suspension of constitution and civil rights in Pakistan. THey demanded an immediate removal of curbs on Geo News and ARY One World.
Journalist community and civil society organizations took out a procession to protest police brutalities against their colleagues in karachi. Protesters forcefully crossed barricades and walked to the Governor's House where a sit-in was staged.
