Our fall 2007 tour ended in St. Louis where we hooked up with Jim Manley who invited Brian MacDomald & myself(Kevin Burns) to his house. I recorded this clip of us talking trumpet. Some nice high notes and conversation about trumpet playing ensued. Sorry for the low lighting.
The Airmen of Note at a public concert on May 4th, 2007. "Somewhere Over The Rainbow" performed by Brian MacDonald and Kevin Burns. Kevin is announcing at first. Check out Brian's double Cs! Nice arrangment by Alan Baylock.
The is the opening sequence of most public concerts of the Airmen of Note including the Air Force Honor Guard Color Team presenting the colors followed by a nice arrangement of the National Anthem.
From Fall 2007 tour. The amazing Vinnie DiMartino played this song "Aim For The Heart" on a couple of nights on our tour which included several stops in Kentucky where he teaches at Centre College in Danville. The trumpet section got to hang at his beautiful house one evening - a highlight of the tour!

My 9 year old wrote and drew this story for me while I was out of town. I was inspired to create this little film. I recorded him narrating the story and scanned his illustrations as well as cut some scenes using the boys' action figures. My brother created the original music that I used for the soundtrack. We had fun making it. Hope you enjoy!

Highlights of the boys pinewood derby race for cub scouts. Trever cleans up in his first six races. Both boys ended up with silver medals. Lots of fun!
