This is a montage of KOAT's farewell pieces for longtime KOAT anchor Nelson Martinez. This tribute spanned the 6 and 10 'o clock newscasts and contains the past endeavors and history of Nelson Martinez.

WTAE was trying to talk to Pittsburgh's mayor about how the city responded to February 1st's sleet and freezing rain, but it just so happened the mayor wasn't anywhere near Pittsburgh; he was in Paris.
This open was from the first newscast KDKA used their WBBM-esque graphics. If you look closely enough, you'll see a few differences.
They don't have the plasma screen up and I believe they changed the lighting because the backdrop seems more illuminated now.
There are some other subtle differences from this clip. This is the introduction of Keith Jones to KDKA-TV.
The first clip is a new, classy promo for the news at 10 on FOX53. It leads into the teaser, and then the letdown: the open. Yes, WPXI is still using "Deadlines" after going HD.
This is WPXI's latest update to their graphic's package; this time it was to the open. They made it much flashier, adding loud sound effects and flashier transitions.
