Daffy tries to save himself and a younger resistant duck from a hunter caricatured and voiced by actor Victor Moore. The liquid Daffy trickling down the mountain is classic!
The last of the too few cartoons featuring Sniffles the Mouse. In the early 40s he was a cuter Disneyesque kind of mouse.By 1946,he had become a crafty Bugs Bunnyish mouse with a faster talking impish voice.Another cartoon featuring a charicature of a Warner Brothers regular:Edward G Robinson.
MSG 6-16-75 Putski's second appearance at the Gardens since coming from the AWA.This was on the same card as the one with the Sammartino-W.Von Erich match.Does anyone know the name of the ring announcer? He did some ring work in 1975-1976 between the Bob Freed and Howard Finkel eras.
6/16/75 MSG/I believe this is the infamous "can opener" match as per the foreign object used by Waldo. The match ends rather quickly. It's best to assume that Waldo knocked himself out when he hit the back of his head on the mat.(Perhaps Bruno's knee did connect?)A Plea:I wish we could buy a DVD Box Set with more of these 70's matches!
4-14-75 MSG.The set-up* to the Bruno-Von Erich matches in April and June.
(*Waldo could have broken the count or gone out to retrieve the Chief.Or maybe Strongbow was really hurt!?)
The Tag Team Chps The Valiants try to defend their titles! The Valiants practice the referee distraction technique to keep their opponents from tagging in.Tito was always good at acting hurt by using the stagger steps and never quite getting to a tag.Putski has obviously de-bulked since his arrival in the WWWF in 1975.Why the bell rings during the match is a mystery to me!
From November 1979 from,I believe Allentown PA.It is one of the TV taping spots for WWWF Championship Wrestling.Highlight of the match is the punching and headbutt duel between Swede and Domenic.
