Shimane, Japan, Summer 2006.
The trip that reaffirmed my Japanophile-otaku-ne ss. This is part 1 of 14 hours of footage, so enjoy! GOD I love Tokyo...
The gang arrives: we battle a fearsome Tokyo Rabid Topiary, explore downtown Shinjuku and eat our first O-konomiyaki around midnight.
Gackt and Mana reunited! What do you get when you mix cosplayers with too much time on their hands with videotape and bad accents?? This. I am POKUTO! (a.k.a Pocket Gackt) FEAR ME!!
We visit the Hakone gardens via ropeway bus and fenicular, see adorable (BIG) puppies in a craft shop, and a Tokyo city view from the Metropolitan Government building.

Ladies and gentlemen(?): an introduction to Visual Kei Jrock. Please know: there is not a single female in this video. I KNOW somebody must have done this before, but I figured I'd try my hand. MY FIRST JROCK VID!!
No, no, NO, I am NOT making fun of it like I hate it or something; I LIVE off of Jrock.
Enjoy the bishies!
My homestay led to this visit to Matsue with my friends and host parents. I show the spots I frequently inhabit, including the riverside near Lafcadio Hearn's residence, Book Off, and the apartment, as well as adorable Asshu.
Enjoy the coolness! Part II will be posted... eventually... XD
Harajuku and Meiji Shrine. We check out THE Harajuku, Takeshita Street, see a pair of beautiful Shinto weddings in Meiji Jingu (Shrine) and check out a hot bishie florist. XD
Continued adventures in Tokyo; part II of Ch. 2.
Wow, it rhymed! XD
Host family #2: the Yamamotos, from Nagasaki English summer camp, Japan 2007.
My host parents, Junichi and Akemi, have a sukiyaki party with their neighbors from downstairs. All together, we're from America, Japan, Taiwan, and Britain.
I'll never forget this experience as long as I live. I'm SO happy I had a video camera. ^^ Love you Akemi-san, Junichi-san!
A sort of MV I put together containing gorgeous clips of our first outing in Tokyo. Japanese cultural prettiness!! Prettiness set to Chinese music, but oh well. Historical, right?
Josh and I stay up all night before going to see the Imperial Palace, the enchanting Palace Gardens and an amazing Matsuri Festival. Continuing adventures in Tokyo: part I of Ch.2
We go to the shrines and temples of Nikko, see the first Shogunate leader's grave, a thousand-person historical reenactment of a matsuri festival, and Hidari Jingoro's masterpiece, "The Sleeping Cat".
Part I of Ch. 4: a continuation of our Tokyo daytrips.
We go to see Mt. Fuji, the Hakone pirate boats, volcanic sulfur springs, yummy black eggs and heart-stoppingly high ropeway cars.
An awesome continuation of our Tokyo daytrips: part III of Ch.2.
Em sneaks around taking shots of Sumo wrestlers, glimpses the Nautilus, goes back to downtown Harajuku and eats raw horse in Shibuya. Random snippets of inbetween experiences.
Continuation of our Tokyo adventures: Part II of Ch. 3.

A performance art video for our Intro to Performance Studies class. (Also for anyone wondering, yes, I did use the Gackt wig as my boy wig. XD) Enjoy!!
Utada Hikaru can make anybody dance... including my 14 year old brother who keeps heckling me about my Japanophile otaku-ness. (Yes, that's a word! XD)
