The French chanson singer, Damia (Born Marie-Louise Damien, 1889.12.5 - 1978.1.31) sings the infamous, yet somewhat haunting, Sombre Dimanche (Gloomy Sunday) for Columbia in 1936.
There are hundreds of different version of this song by numerous singers, but this is one of my best favorite.

Nadja s'apperçoit que quelqu'un a pris sa place. Un bal va être donné pour que la fausse Nadja soit présentée à la haute société. Nadja décide donc de s'y rendre en portant la robe de bal de sa mére. Une fois au bal, cest avec une immense surprise qu'elle découvre que c'est Rose-Mary qui a usurpé son identité !
