Me noodling through my Peavey Valve King 212 with Eminence Man-O-War speakers. I was unhappy with the harsh, brash sound of the amp until I put a Boss GE-7 EQ in the effects loop and cut 1.6K almost completely. It really smoothed out the tone quite a bit and is a lot closer to the Marshall sound I like. I am playing my Epiphone Les Paul Studio with Gibson Burstbucker PRO pickups.

Just recording the tone on the 5150 combo I just got, still messing around with settings.
The guitar is an ESP LTD EX400BD with EMG 81(b)/60(n) and the playing is just whatever came into my head at that moment, so nevermind that. Comments, suggestions and whatever on my tone are welcome.
