I am pleased to have been involved with helicopters all these years.
Real helicopters were just coming of age at the beginning of WW2.
We have come a long way since then in Models and the real ones.

responding code 3 on a heli-pad intercept, ok i know it looks like im going slow the truck i was in developed transmission problems about 2 minutes in and i couldn't accelerate like i wanted to.

If you can't see it, you can't fly it. Here is how I made my Honeybee easier to see, when flying outside or in low light. Just paint the balls as shown. This has helped my novice helicopter pilots stay oriented a lot. And me too!

Here is my Raptor with the TT39 motor still. Winds were about 35-45 kph... Basically Dumb-Flicked the Throttle hold switch when a gust pushed the nose down. Switched hold back on to recover but my finger switched it back off.
