evolunchbox and 2.3 evo 8 go to the track in ohio for the dsm shootout. reppin Buschur Racing and SouthSideImports.net . Both evos are built and running a 67mm turbo. this was also their first time at the track with these setups.

This was the first attempt at that 9second 93 octane pass.
This car is a DAILY DRIVER. Not a gutted POS race car.

I love the new Evo X, and sadly it seems my wife loves it also. That can't bode well for the future of Evo X sales. It seems that the "X" is appealing to a totally different breed of customer. Here we install a Buschur cat back exhuast and give it an Ecutek Tune for an easy 65 TQ and 45 whp of gains.

E85 EVO VIII with HKS 280 cams, buschur TBE, FP Green, 1000 injectors and stock ECU, tuned by yours truly idling in my alley at night. Notice the vacuum, around -12.5 inHg, that's around -5 psi. Stock cams are around -20 inHg. Idle set at 875.
