May 16th, 2007, Day 2 of a 15,000 Acre brush fire that erupted into an out of control wild fire through woods in Barneget, Stafford, Warren Grove, Bass River. B-10 and B-34 with a Military 6X6 operating in the woods when the fire crowned over the 6X6 truck. Firefighters lives were nearly missed.

On April 6, 2007about 5:00 pm the Carlstadt Fire Department were dispatched out to the New Jersey Turnpike(near the Vince Lombardi Rest area)for a garbage truck that was on fire. As they arrived the fire had spread to the near by brush.. A third alarm was called to the scene to put the fire under control

A brush fire ignited Wednesday afternoon in Lake County near Paisley forcing residents of the Deerhaven subdivision to evacuate.
Officials said residents will not be able to return to their homes for the night on Wednesday.
