A BNSF grain train passes through my back yard on April 21, 2007. Well, not really my back yard, but less than a mile away. The location is the Auburn, WA "M" Street crossing. The empty grain train is going from TEMCO/Cargill in Tacoma back to the midwest to refill. Empty grain trains comprise most of the traffic on the BNSF Stampede Pass line.

A BNSF Hot Z train is leaving East Scenic Siding to enter the West Portal of the 7.8 miles Cascade Tunnel. I really like this video because of raw power of the locomotives. The locomotive leading is an ES44DC GEVO, 2 C44-9W, and a B40-8W. This is shot at December 28,2006. Notice the last locomotve has grifiti on the side. According to my thinking, this train is heading to Chicago from Seattle.
