One of John Lee Hookers most famous songs. I've never sung this before, but I had to add some vocals anyway, because it adds so much to the song. I play this in standard tuning, in E. And I learned this from JLH's solo recordings of the song. I use my Gibson ES333 with a Marshall.

Open G tuning this time. What Muddy Waters called spanish? I think I started playing it in open G because I couldnt make it sound well in standard. So I have to stretch my fingers over 5 bands on the guitar to play some of the notes. What do you think? Did Johnson use open G tuning?
