For thousands of years those who chose for God have met with opposition. Persecution - whether big or small - has always been with us. Even today millions are suffering for the Kingdom of Jesus.
How is that true of us? How does opposition for Jesus' sake bring blessedness and joy?
The Westminster Catechism (17th century) asks the question: What is the chief end of man? The answer: To glorify God and enjoy Him forever.
This morning our focus will be on the glory of God as well as on the amazing truth that God's people already in this life are reflecting some of that glory. But how do we, in the nitty-gritty of daily life, bring God the glory in everything we do?
