An anti-drug movie from the 70's that is trying very hard to be "with it". To be fair I do love the groovy intro music, the mod wallpaper and the prevelance of white slacks and belts. The kids' acccents are priceless as well.
A tale of backwoods blacktop mayhem--Two dim-witted, lead-footed guidos from Bayonne, New Jersey bust through stoplight after stoplight in their turbo-charged, fuel-injected Pontiac Grand Prix until their mean machine nearly eighty-sixes another hunk of American steel. And that's just the start of it...A confrontation, an assault, fists-a-flying, and traffic violations. 1990. Super 8.
A very bizarre drug educational film. The film mixes convincing interviews with the residents of Harlem re: the dangers of heroin along with a sketchy reenactment of a junky stumbling through town. Early 70's. Great score by Harry Holt.
Dream Syndicate performing That's What You Always Say on the Out of the Grey Tour, 1986 or 1987. A ferocious, string-shredding version of the song. Shot on film in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Shot by Danny Plotnick & Dana Mendelssohn. Edited by Danny Plotnick.
My friend Lee and my son Henry parade around the Queen Mary as The Tin Man & The Ghost. Lee was hired to perform at a disco party on board as the Tin Man. My son just likes to dress up as a ghost.
