Recognized as North America's biggest and best, Vancouver's Rio Tinto Alcan Dragon Boat Festival 20th Anniversary will be a true celebration of multiculturalism, attracting over 90,000 people and more than 180 dragon boat teams from across the Lower Mainland and around the globe.
11 artists chose a country and had to incorporate different facets of their choice country to be judged on uniqueness, theme and how well they have been able to create corresponding representative imagery of the country. Their canvas was the human body.
