This is one of two machines in the UK, generically known as Twin Spin. This one, (1996, seated version) and Stargate (1995, stand-up version). I liked the operating mode for this. The longer, the better :-)
This is the only Top Scan ride travelling the UK, namely Space Roller. At 1:20, I pointed the camera at someone's shoe. It fell off a rider, who was on that ride :-)
Some may know this type of machine better as the Ripsaw at Alton Towers. There are 4 or 5 travelling in the UK, generically known as Top Spin. This model differed in that a row of people are sat on the reverse side of the gondola instead of being above the first row. There is a motor in the gondola part too, which explains the fairly unusual (but good!) movement.
This is KMG's spinning pendula ride. Technical Park make their own model called Afterburner, often travels as "Chaos". For some reason, this particular Freak Out had difficulty with stopping!
Two Mxcolor heads (18 luxeon LEDs each) and four PAR cans (151 LEDs each). I couldn't fit the PARs into the shot although the light is visible from a distance. The music is freely available from freeplaymusic.com
This is series II, episode 9 of the Lilo & Stitch cartoon series. Lilo copies the hand movements and sounds of a laser, as originally depicted by Jumba. I think it is cute. Lilo is so adorable!
Mxcolor head (18 luxeon LEDs each), EVO-5 projector, 4 PAR cans (151 LEDs each), 8 LED cubes (48 LEDs each) and LED tube (144 LEDs). Last but not least, "Mulan" (backdrop on my computer), drawn by Ari, my German penfriend! Music is Underworld - Two Months Off.
This is the KMG Superspin machine, belonging to Graham Sedgwick. 3 arms move for or against the main turntable and the seats can invert their riders. The trading name for this machine is Experience.
