My 18th birthday party sure was a fun time. After dinner at Rocco's with hilarious videos, my friends and I ventured to Lore's Lanes. Well, when you hold a party on Friday the 13th, a certain level of unpredictability must be factored in. After the second game, there was a gas leak in the bar and we had to evacuate. Thus, the parking lot extravaganza began(za). We'z crazy.
Here it is - the game that inspired the movie Get Smart (as well as Mr. D's Smart Board). This was basically what gave me the idea for the movie's first scene, but it's just plain funny on its own. I took some footage at my Halloween party and then just trimmed it and added music and titles. Enjoy.
The title says it all - two attempts, one extremely successful, to cause an ordinary diet pepsi can to combust in a chaotic conflagration of calamity. The first attempt produces a small set of sparks, but stay tuned or simply skip ahead to see the real magic, and its aftermath.
A satirical music video about the FIRST Robotics Competition. I really just wanted to put mascots fighting to the trailer music from 300, but I managed to find some other things to include (sorry for the ghosting effect)
My award-winning film from junior year. Chris Nuzzi, Kyle Bonn and I wrote and directed it. I did the effects and many of my friends were actors in it, including all three of us "directors" - it's pretty awesome.
This was the 2005 haunted house briefing video. We had started using these videos the year before to help kids be safe in the annual haunted house in my basement - part of a Halloween tradition. Anyway, the theme that year was "The Island of Dr. Moreau", or simply "The Island"...this is the video we showed invitees before entering.
Well, I took all the videos, as well as some photos, from my MICA Pre-College experience and edited them together to create this bizzare little compilation.
A pair of hikers find a strange rock with a hidden secret that is centuries old - then things get stupid.
Inspirations include Old Greg, Dr. Who, and white people from Connecticut that think they are ghetto.
This is the 30-second animation I made for my senior year on the FIRST Robotics Team. The theme had to be "Thinking Green", and the instructions suggested portraying a "green" superhero as one possibility. I won the Regional Animation Award for this and that's my voice - lol.
My first major After Effects animation, done for my Elements of Visual Thinking class. There were no real parameters for the project, except that we had about two weeks to complete it. I pulled something of an all-nighter to complete it. (I may upload an updated version later)
A project for my Elements of Visual Thinking class in which we had to convey "lightness" in some way. I filmed it at about 3 in the morning and had it edited and ready before 5am...so not too shabby...
