I "dogsat" my friend M's dog Ebba the other day. She was very patient with me sitting still, studying, all day. But an active dog like Ebba can only take so much - finally she had her revenge on me and licked my armpit! :-)
I'm trying out fleece as an alternative to wood shavings in the guinea pig cage. Neither me nor the piggies are convinced about it yet. But this is what it looked like when I put them in the cage for the first time with fleece. (They've just taken a bath - that's why they look a bit ragged.)
Baby accompanies Fatso in the bath for the first time. Fatso needs regular baths to keep her skin problem in check (really, she does!) and i thought Baby should know why Fatso is so cranky every other Sunday. :-)
Fatso gets a treat in a roll to play with. She goes about it with her usual silent determination but cheaky Baby steals her treat.

Do you have a guine pig that sounds like this once in a while? Fatso is not a verbal pig and sometimes she has these "fits". Sounds like she is in pain. She usually doesn't eat during them though, and they can happen in the middle of the night. Any idea what it can mean?
