Yes estimated 240lbs Thresher SHARKS NOT 1 but 3 SHARKS caught within 2 hours. This is the 3rd Thresher Shark for the day caught at 7:13AM. This one is mouth hook and made it easier to handle for the release.

This Thresher Shark was caught and landed on kayak single handedly. Weighs over 100 pounds and measures 8ft 11 inches. It was caught on a fly lined big live mackerel as seen on it's lips. Made fish taco out of it tasted great.
Shown here is the danger involve in catching sharks. The hook barely missing my skin is hooked on the my wet suit. Letting go the shark is not an option as it will drag me into the water. Very dangerous situation.

What a great experience to have kayak fish in Jackson Lake during a stop over at Colter Bay Grand Teton National Park. We caught White Mountain fish,Lake Trout,Cut throat,Rainbow and Brown trout. All caught on light tackle 4 pond line trolling a CD-9 Brown Rapala and a Red-gold spoon.
Here a legal size White Seabass caught by Johnny Ceviche and was released. Time was only 07:15 A.M. so off he go looking for a bigger catch. The next video.
