Took the XJ from scaleoffroad.de (also see www.scaleoffroad.com ) for a two hour ride at Pointes West. Flopped it once but no big deal. Bumpers and fender flares got some rash but they'll clean up.
Video of the first 16 minutes of the ride through Deep Step at FATS.
I edited the boring flat sections to fit the 10 minute limit for YouTube.
Camera is a Sony DCR-HC30 mounted on the handlebars with a Blackburn headlight mounting bracket and a few feet of duct tape.
Bike is a 2008 Cannondale 29'er Two with Lefty.
Driving my Stick from thecrawlerstore.com up an insane vertical climb. The combination of the sand and the undercut on the right made this a rather difficult climb.
Robert doing a bit of forward flight and finding out about mistakes with negative pitch. Not as bad as it could have been, but bad enough. A week later this heli was flown again. All electronics survived.
Maiden flight for the 84.5" Gee Bee Y Senior Sportster from Hobby Lobby
Zenoah 26ei, Slimline Pitts muffler, Master Airscrew 18x8.
The 18x8 seems a little over-propped for this plane, but I like the 18" diameter prop. Will change to a 18x6; hopefully that will liven things up a bit.
Stuck Novak's new crawler system in Ralph and took him out for a bit of testing.
Before I could shoot some decent video I stripped a screw out of the stock steering bellcrank.
Patched it back together and shot video of the Novak system in action
