River Otters in and around the boats docks on Trinidad Bay. I took these videos in the summer of 2002. Sadly, these now seem to be extinct in this area. They used to be a common site, but I have not seen any in almost 2 years.

I shot this on 7/27/08 on Hwy 29 in the Trinity Canyon while returning to Humboldt county. The Skycrane helicopter is pumping almost 2,000 gallons of water to fight the Shasta/Trinity forest fires in Northern California.
