The biggest trout are further out but you can clearly see the # of small trout hitting the Blue Winged Olive Mayflies that were hatching out. Occasionally I hooked one but not in this take.
Another version, different editor and stuff.... Only my second Largemouth of my life thru the ice at this point. Ended up with6 on the year, including an 18 inch+ hawg.
A slideshow of mostly downrigger salmon fishing pictures, mostly caught on my SUPER GLOW Spoons, set to Mr Sambo by Richie Sambora. These pics span from the beginning of the spoons legacy(no tattoos), past the little aluminum boat faze to modern times. A few fly fishing pics from fall 2006 finish the show. Enjoy!
How many trout did you see?
Yellow perch on good ice late in 2008. A little fussy at times but landed about 50 that day. Ilove my hut and especially LOVE my new FIshtv7 camera. Have to start recording direct soon.
Count the rises as I try to hook 1 of hundreds of trout at my feet. The rises were a 100 a minute at times and the Blue Winged Olives were everywhere. Tons of little guys and a few lunkers. Hard to hook any with so many naturals around. Great fun though...
Steelhead on the flyrod. Not the best video but a few good jumps. A good size hen inhales my streamer despite being ripe with eggs in early May. She gets it deep in the gill rakers and fights hard before becoming the only casualty of the season. Even the pinched barb on the fly didnt help. I release almost all fish but not if it wont make it !!
Under water chinook close up footage. Low water levels made for great filming as you can see. The fish had to rest a lot from running hard, up low and skinny water. Gave me an opportunity to share a rarely seen sight, up close, real close !!

Me trying to work 2 cameras and oh ya hook a perch from time to time. The perch are so thick they are bumping the camera. Some sunfish and suckers cruised by thruogh the day but mostly 100's of fussy perch. Those days when it seems like they are just not there becasue the bites arew slow, think of this video....
A little smallmouth bass action as I try out the new cheapy camera. My Canon is way better obviously, but this will do for a back up. Love the smallies !!! The last on is my fav. Tailwalkin' Ya Baby !!!
This editor seems best. A quick hand off and I get some footage of my first pike of the year. We had inch a hour snow squalls that day(check out the plaid coat) and most of the pike were pretty small. This one ended up as the biggest of the day. I pinch my barbs to aid in the quick release.
Wicked Weather with Lightning strikes. Before, doring and after the storm broke. Near the end I get a nice 'little' surprize. This front chased me for a half hour. I was stck in 90 kms for a bit and it kept up. Once I got over 100 kms, I got ahead of it and stopped to film.

Usually pretty well spoken, Fish Guy lets the curses fly liberally shortly after we see this beast pop out of the hole late one afternoon in 2006. I am standing opposite him taking the still pictures. Hope you enjoy the little collage. Good Fishing. see more at www.fortunespoons.c om
