Some weeks ago there was a lot of work going on at the front door: a nest was built by a very small and rare German bird called "Zaunkönig" - Troglodytes troglodytes - a wren in english.
NOw there are 3 little wrens and
a very busy mother birdie.
"Zaunkönig" means "king of the fence" - a funny name for such a small bird.
