From the Great Xpectations concert at Finsbury Park, 13th June 1993. As broadcast on "The Beat" later that year, hence the end credits over the picture (sorry, can't do much about that.)
I've put these up as a single vid for a good reason - Damon "plays" keyboards on the Elastica track, disappears a few seconds before the end, and then (after a hasty costume change) is singing Jubilee with Blur. Also worth noting is that Dave has "Dave" written in ink on his face in reference to Prince (who had taken to writing "slave" on his face around the same time.) tx: 23/02/95.
From Later with Jools Holland, 2003. Worth seeing partly cos it's a good song, but also for the utterly bizarre ending to this performance, which is probably better seen rather than described. Rock'n'roll!
No audio for first 25 sec, but stick with it because this is pretty funny (or at least I think it is, but then I have a weird sense of humour.) Brett indulges in a spot of impromptu role-reversal... from "Hanging Out", tx: 14/01/97.
Unless there's something seriously wrong with the search facility, no-one has uploaded a version of this superb song before. Srsly wtf?! etc. Anyway, to make amends this is a great performance with a very different ending to the recorded version.
From TFI Friday, November 1996.
From T in the Park, 13th July 2008. I was just listening to this song yesterday and thinking how cool it would be to hear it played live again. So it was a bit weird to turn on the TV last night and find that they'd done just that...
