On an overcast day, the Rolls-Royce Spitfire taxis out, waits on the taxiway before taking off. It joins 2 other Spitfires and a Hurricane for several passes before landing. A Kittyhawk and Mustang follow them in.
Taken whilst videoing the family canoeing. We didn't know we were even near an airbase until the first plane came in. There are five. Unfortunately, I ran out of tape just as the last one was landing!!
