I was careful to pin the lizard down by its torso, and yet, as soon as i did so the lizard released its tail and it went flopping madly about! I captured the lizard and its flailing appendage.....

This is my turtle, Kame, confused by water drops collected on the outside of his glass cage.
I believe that because he is used to having a clear view out of the glass, that he assumes his vision must be obstructed by water on his face, and thus, tries to shake and wipe it off.
He also seems to think the larger drops running down the glass are bugs...

It was like... a water mattress, 'cept it was grassy, muddy, and wet. Prodding a finger into the center, revealed it was full of water (don't worry, the hole was not deep enough to rupture the bubble). Perhaps a pipe broke.
