On July 30th, 2005 I embarked on a all day railfanning trip of the Seattle Sub. I covered Tacoma/Steilicoom/Ce ntralia/Chehalis/ and Napavine. This day was unique in the fact I saw two trains clear the rear end just as the other train approached. Enjoy.

Within the last month BNSF and Union Pacific have been running coal and unit coke trains up to Roberts Bank Canada. What makes this rare is that never has UP Coal gone up the to bank nor has BNSF coke. Here are some views over two videos of the trains.

Today I caught Tacoma Rail heading out of Tacoma for Fredrickson. here are several views of the train. I like a dumb ass walked into my last shot,,, oh well.
Here are two Amtrak Cascade Talgos and the Coast Starlight shown in these three run-bys. The two cascade trains usally have F59PHIs, but they usally always break down every few months allowing the GEs to come out.
