The eagles doing something we normally don't see them do: fly after sunset. I've GOT to get a good video camera! (Sorry - this is the best my poor little digital still cam can do.)
This guy landed on this pole as we were driving by next to The Beachhouse restaurant. He enjoyed his sushi and didn't seem to be bothered by me getting closer. I like sushi, but I'm glad we had a nice cooked ham!
The Spokane River at Post Falls Dam. A man told me it was the highest the water has been in 50 years. Spokane River is below Lake CdA. Above the lake, the CdA River and the St Joe River are at Flood stage as of today.
T/his is down the CdA River where we'll go in a canoe. Just river and forest. Last time I went down, a moose came out on the gravel beach and watched me go by...maybe 10 feet away.
Aline got lucky! We visited Mica Glen Alpacas just one day after their newest baby alpaca was born. She's seen having her lunch here at 1:18 into the video. Not the best view, but there she is.
Uh...the title is pretty self-explanatory. Hooked a nice 17" cutt where the video starts and had to chase him all the way down to the far end of where you can see the stream as the video follows it down. Released the fish, of course.
