this is a video i made of the (then) new dayton wal-mart, near harrisonburg, VA. i will add that i hate how wal-mart (or maybe target or some other super big box department store) is the only way for 90% of americans to get 90% of their stuff. we need LESS stuff, BETTER quality.
A remix of my trip through Birmingham, AL. Its mostly Tarrant City, to be exact. This time, I include some narrative reminiscences courtesy of my mom & her cousin, Richard. Music is Rhubarb, by Aphex Twin.
This rusted hulk of machinery onced strip mined coal from the hills of Walker County in West Alabama. I couldn't believe the size of this thing. A distant cousin-in-law once removed narrates this bit.

This is a double rainbow that happened in our backyard a few months back. You can't really tell its double cause of the video's compression, but its still nice. Portland skies rule sometimes!
the fog on my back door. this was an experiment in light, i guess. it gave me an idea for a future piece. i liked this well enough to post it. music is angoisse temporelle by acanthas. many thanks to nate ashley for his brilliantly compiled rare horror movie soundtrack series, written in blood. this one's from volume 2.
I made this video for Aidan's song Sungod a few years back in Harrisonburg, VA. It's the sunset through the trees through my bedroom window on Campbell Street.
