After defeating Kenny Bernstein in Rd. 1 at the Finals, I captured this shot of Jerry Toliver warming up his car just before he would match up against Robert Hight in Rd. 2.
Once again, I catch Southern Pacific 4846-4847 on the fantastic layout at The Living Desert in Palm Desert, CA. This time it shows the SP going around some desert wildlife in one big loop and then blaring it's horn as it enters a small town and bypasses a rail yard. The race comes back from green as there is action all over the race track. The caution comes out for a car going slow on the front stretch and the red then comes out for a car flipping on the back stretch. Taken June 14, 2008.
As soon as the Norfolk and Western Coal Train came to a stop, the Burlington Coal Train began. I shot this video as it was coming around the corner to stop, to let the Norfolk and Western to once again make it's run. This was again filmed at the Living Desert in Palm Desert, CA. Collings Foundation's B-17G Flying Fortress "Nine-o-Nine" taking off at Santa Barbara Airport (SBA) on May 9, 2007. A B-24J and B-25 were also on the tour. This plane was heading to San Luis Obispo for it's next stop on the Wings of Freedom tour.

As soon as a mixed intermodel train passed, this freight train began to move and I soon followed chase, This train had two SD70M (4715 & 4288) and one SD40-Z (2966). This video isn't very long as the batteries on my camera were very low. When the train sounded it's first horn, I laughed because it caught me off guard. This was shot on Pearson Rd. right near East Eight Mile Rd in Lodi, CA.
Almost before midnight, I caught this Union Pacific Manifest Freight Train going North on July 23, 2008. Sorry the lighting is not so good as this railroad crossing is really out in the middle of no where. As always comment and leave feedback to me as it is greatly appreciated. Thanks!!!
This is the final between Robert Hight driving for his father-in-law John Force and Cruz Pedregon in the Advance Auto Parts Funny Car. Cruz's brother Tony suffered second degree burns on his right hand from a accident eariler in the day during first round, but was back to see his brother race his way to the final round.
