One of Japan's oldest castles, Matsumoto-jo was built in about 1590 on the site of oldesr castles. Surrounded by a pond with giant Koi, a red bridge brings you over the water to the castle.
In the Mercado Centro fish market, you can buy edible barnacles, "picoroco". Here, the insides squirm around, waiting to be choosen as someones expesive, but tasty dinner.
