This is the end of the addition to the additions of Final Fantasy. I'm pretty much just charging into battle, not knowing what to expect. Summa bitch sealed my Item command and knocked down my White Wizard thereby eleminating any real chance I had to heal up. Seems I was a tad under leveled...
Since neither Mr Driller nor Ikaruga are originals, there are no reviews these two weeks. Rather than leave you empty-handed, I give you this video of me 'beating' Brain Challenge since there are no others that I know of here. I'm using a new way to capture and upload it, so let's hope it works out well!
So you see I play games other than those casual downloadable originals (in fact, my most popular video, by a very, very wide margin, is the Final Fantasy III DS final boss video).
The good guys versus Pisaro the Manslayer, or Necrosaro as he shall always be known to me.
As usual, here's hoping comments about my alleged ignorance about the Happy Tree Friends for ignoring their non-XBLA status are none. To be fair, unlike Penny Arcade, I've actually never heard of that thing before this game. I don't believe I'm missing much.
Oh and GyroStarr. Gitit!
Oh! And I meant to say 5 minutes seems to be the median time to complete a stage, not the maximum (the middle stages take about that long, the real early ones, 1-2 minutes).
You sick and tired of falling blocks? Because if not, TiQal just squeaks on by...

And then we have the ending. I thought some viewers would like to see what some of the townspeople say upon completion of the game. I know this was always a personal high point of DW games for me. Watch as I get lost in the not-very-convoluted Zenithian Castle.
Don't worry folks, I promise my next vid will be a review of a downloadable game.
Chosen heroes go home and credits, the latter seemed to drag on and on, even for credits' standards (had to cut some out to make the 10 minute rule)...
Probably not my best week, but then again, as there is a great deal I wish I would've said and captured after production of the videos, but the show must go on. Not very inspirational, either. What a way to squander your slightly-hyped 100th XBLA release, guys!
The ending to Puzzle Quest. Nothing special. I for some reason thought it would be a little than this. I don't think there's another video of this on Youtube. But I went through the trouble to get it, so I might as well put it up.
Oh! I forgot to explain why I bypassed Arkardian Warriors: because of the heavy mutliplayer emphasis in the promotional descriptions, a feature not easily utilized yours truly.
EDIT: BC:Rearmed does not have to be played in one sitting after all, as you did in the NES days. Seems there are checkpoints after all.
Also includes a cameo by Fable II Pub Games. This is a week of extremes here. Included is a game I knew better not to buy, a game I had no business buying and a game I (and everyone else) is much better off for buying.
