The Papa Stour sword dance, performed by North British Sword at Elgin, during the NB grand tour of Scottish sword dance sites. (Elgin was the closest we could get to Papa Stour in a weekend)
The North British Sword dancers performing their version of the traditional Papa Stour longsword dance at Matlock Bath. Sadly, missing the start of the dance where Andrew failed to get his leg over.
One of the oldest recorded English traditions, the Horn Dance has been performed for over 800 years. One of the horns was radio carbon dated, showing the horn was over a thousand years old. To add to the mystery the horns are reindeer, which probably died out in the UK about 8500 years ago.
