A movie all about our garden railway. In length 56 yards of track with 1,792 wooden sleepers all cut by hand from an old breadboard and parquet flooring!! It eventully closed due to nature taking over and now long gone, just afew reminders of its exsitance left. http://www.myspace.c om/railways or http://www.youtube.c om/group/railways
Swedish filmmaker Gosta Werner earned considerable acclaim in 1940s Europe for such creative and poetic short films as The Train (1948). Werner has also directed a few modest feature films and penned articles and books about the film industry. (Note: This is a different film to the French movie also called 'The Train')

The opening was filmed from the back of a coach then played in reverse to look like the camera is on the fron of the train.. random bit of info there :]
